Every photograph follows a particular aspect ratio, a term used to describe the dimensions of the image by comparing the width to height and expressing it in ratio form. Most of the digital cameras whether full frame or cropped sensor comes with 3:2 aspect ratio and some come with 4:3 aspect ratio. Square format is basically 1:1 aspect ratio where the size of width is equal to the size of height.
